The goal of the Deadgoats is to promote cycling, be it mountain, road, cyclocross, single speeding or commuting as a fun and exciting sport. The club is known for its laid back, friendly and supportive attitude. We encourage all levels of riders, both male and female, to come out get some exercise and have a good time. Riders who have spent time with the deadgoats often make lifelong friends, both on and off the bike. Riding with the deadgoats can help you discover local trails and new riding opportunities in and around Calgary. In addition, road trips to popular riding destinations to Moab, Fruita, St George/Zion and Canadian hotspots like Fernie, Kamloops, Squamish and others are organized each year. Barbeques and socials are always on the go. As a sanctioned Alberta Bicycle Association (“ABA”) club, a $35 annual ABA insurance fee is mandatory. Club riders will have access to the ride posting and club/team news section of the site.
